Project:
Managed the relocation of GM Powertrain Engineering and EDS Support Services involving 800 employees over five weekends into five adjoining buildings. Project required fast-track management resulting in construction-to-relocation within three months of project inception.
Services Provided:
Supervised complete relocation team. Programmed facility requirements, set master schedule, selected architect and engineers, coordinated contractor, furniture vendors, movers, EDS communication activities. Working with GM engineer supervised GM/EDS personnel activities.
Benefits:
Established a move management operating procedure that is still in use at GM today. Project was completed on-time and on-budget. |
